Well, and by romance I mean pretty, antique-looking florals and some neutral floral accessories. I've worn this outfit to a semi-formal school function, but I think it could also be date appropriate, or shopping friendly with some flats.
P.S. Not sure why I look super uncomfortable in these pictures...
XL Grey Boyfriend T-Shirt: Target
XXL Tiered Floral Skirt: Target
Black Tights: Target
XL Yellow Pea Coat: Faith 21
Bone Flower Purse: Fashion Express via Ross
Floral/Pearl Earrings: Forever 21
Floral Ring: Forever 21
Black Peep Toe Faux-Suede Wedges: Payless
Here's a close up of the pattern on the skirt. It's very antique looking- with the muted rose tones, and pastel blues and greens.
This tiered skirt was a real steal at $11.00, it was on clearance and there were only two left. So needless to say, I was super excited. I was also stoked because it has pockets. I think the pockets bring a little flirty casual-ness to this skirt, which could easily be too dressed up looking for everyday.
I've posted a photo of this ring before, but last week I found earrings that came in a set of 6 that matched almost perfectly. The flowers are the same material (tin/metal) with a pearl in the middle.
Neutrals are all over the place, and I find that I like to incorporate them the best in accessories (shoes, purses, jewelry). I found this bone colored, studded floral purse- with hot pink lining!- at Ross for $20. There are definitely treasures in Ross and Marshall's, just gotta pop in and take a look.
I've had these shoes from Payless for years. There are sooo comfortable. Some of my girlfriends have rules about tights and open toe shoes, but I threw caution to the wind on this one and paired these black shoes with black tights.
Thanks for reading. Beijos.
This is perfect, the coat is what makes it the best!
ReplyDelete@Gazel- I love this coat, and I love that I got it on sale! It's lined on the inside with a silky polka dotted material, and so comfortable!
