Accessories to the Crime

What? Me? Fashion crimes? Never. It's all relative in fashion ;)

Allison of Curvy Girl Chic's "Bag Voyeurism" post got me thinking; what do I feel says something about me- and out of sheer curiosity, what would I want to see of someone else's? Then I remembered a post I saw ages ago by Rumi of Fashiontoast of some of her accessories. Perfect, right?

So, here is a little peek at some of my accessories, well, my dresser that has been taken over my accessories and perfume- although not quite everything I've got. I have more necklaces/earrings/bracelets elsewhere in my room, and also I keep belts and hats/beanies in my delightfully large closet.

I'm sort of crazy about being organized, well, most of the time anyway, and so I've got necklaces hung up according to color on either side of this Ikea mirror. I don't know if the curves on the edge of this mirror were intended to be used for hanging things, but it works out quite well.





I've got a real love for all things personalized. The bracelet on the left is from a booth at a county fair and the necklace on the right I can't remember where I picked up. I really wish I could, I get asked about it every time I wear it.




Rings, toe rings, earrings, and miscellaneous necklaces. Lots of big chunky rings.



I do have two jewelry boxes, mostly to keep the fancy stuff, since most of what I've got is inexpensive.

In the rectangular one is a bracelet made by survivors of domestic violence, the jewelry making program at the shelter was part of an duel effort to get them back on their feet by training them in a skill- jewelry making- and also benefiting the shelter through the sale of the jewelry.

The heart shaped one (which was a gift-with my name on the front!) is where I keep my Tiffany bracelet and Tiffany mini tag earrings. I've also got a lovely ring in there passed down to me from my Great Grandmother- the ring will be showing up in a post soon.
