Bohemian Style
XL Floral Dress: Target
Black Tights: Target
Cognac Boots: Target (Jude has the same pair in black)
Black Jewel and Chain Ring: Forever 21
"Christina" Necklace: I can't remember :(
Belt: Plus Size store in Main place Mall, Santa Ana, Ca.
Black Hobo Bag: H&M- Bought in Cambridge, England.
This dress is sheer, but came with a black slip dress under it. It is so comfortable, and hangs pretty loosely, so I brought it in at the waist with a black belt. The flowing quality of this dress paired with cognac boots and the hobo bag make me feel a little bohemian.
I was also thinking about pairing this with nude fishnet-type tights, so the black tights don't look too harsh with the lightness of the rest of the outfit. This dress is pretty short (for me)-so I definitely feel more comfortable with some form of tights on.
I really do wish I could remember where I got this necklace. I am tempted to say that I got it at Villains on Haight Street (I'm linking to it in case you want to check it out, there are some interesting accessories and points of inspiration there, although they don't carry plus sizes)... but I don't think so. I always get asked about this necklace, but I have combed the recesses of my memory... and... nothin' but crickets... super frustrating. I will be doing a post soon of where those of you interested in personalized jewelry can find something similar.
I love chunky rings. I used one piece of large jewelry instead of overwhelming this already busy fabric with too many accessories.
This inexpensive belt is paying for itself, seriously. It's the same belt as I wore in my "Adventure: Update" post, and I just keep finding new uses for it!
It's a tiny bit blurry, but I wanted to get the full effect of these boots; the wedge heel, the buckle, the color. The buckle is also adjustable, in case the boot is a little too tight, or loose, depending on what you may need.
Thanks for reading. Beijos!
